When Dylan Hockley's family moved back to New England after residing in the United Kingdom for 18 years, they unknowingly moved into a home less than 100 feet from the man who would later take his life.
Hockley, 6, died Friday during a shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Adam Lanza, the shooter who claimed the lives of 26 people, including 20 children under the age of 7, allegedly killed his own mother in her home on Yogananda Street, directly across the road from the Hockley residence.
According to social media profiles of Dylan's mother, Nicole Hockley, she grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island, and lived in Hampshire, United Kingdom for 18 years before returning to the United States.
